I think this video is hilarious…..I honestly do see how youtube has changed the world because now people can upload almost anything. People even upload their own personal fights or popping their own zits (which is gross lol) but now they have that ability and freedom to do that. Its really crazy

How You Tube has changed the World

I believe that expressing oneself in the Internet like it was said in class very important. Blogs and even posting up home made videos in you tube brings up peoples’ individuality.

You Tube has definitely changed the World. Now we are not only limited to what TV companies want us to watch, but we can now enjoy the talents of regular people that aren’t famous. These hidden talents among people have often gone unnoticed. Now these people that possess talents such as acting, singing, comedy, or dancing can post up their talents for the world to see. This is truly a revolutionary idea, since for so long we have relied on TV personnel to recruit and pick out the talent they want us to see.

The You Tube video I have posted up is a hilarious South Park episode that mocks on those people and animals that have turned famous due to You Tube. It is really incredible!

It is really incredible how simple videos like a baby laughing can receive up to 70 million views. This is very interesting since the baby doesn’t do much except laugh. It really comes to show how simple things can make us laugh. It’s weird in the sense that TV writers go out of their way to make us laugh, such as making fun of homosexual people, etc. Although videos that make fun of people can be funny, it isn’t necessary all of the time like in SNL. Sometimes, there are other nice and inoffensive things (like the baby or Sneezing Panda) that can make us laugh too.

I see that You Tube has done a lot to help boost the dreams of aspiring singers, in a world where the music industry picks out singers based on looks rather than talent. That is another great aspect of You Tube. Therefore, posting oneself is not necessarily narcissism but a way to break through the dictatorship of the entertainment industry.
